Quick Tip: How-To Set Custom Ringtone for each Caller

Do you NEED to know who is calling before you fall over everything to grab your BlackBerry from the crevice of the sofa?

May I suggest assigning a custom ring tone for each your address book contacts. Yes, it's possible and I will show you how to this simply!


Let's get started:

1. From your main BlackBerry , click on the "Address Book" icon.


2. Highlight or hover over the contact you wish to assign a custom ring tone.


3. From your BlackBerry menu scroll down until you find "Add Custom Ring Tone"


4. Select the ring tone you wish to assign to your contact from either 'Preloaded Ring Tones' folder, the 'Device Memory' folder, or from the other ring  tones on your list.


5. Once you click the ring tone, the BlackBerry will assign it to your contact.


6. Press "OK" to confirm.

That's it....you are done!
